New Chargrilled Burgers and Sober Cocktails at Underdoggs Sports Bar and Grill

With the pace of things at work front, during weekdays we usually do not get much time to go eat out and generally relax. Weekend is the times when usually shopping eat outs and some quality time relaxing with family happens. It’s been almost six month that I happen to visit sports bar Underdoggs at Ambiance Mall Vasant Kunj , last time around when we were there we had such good time so this weekend when I got email regarding their new Chargrilled burgers along with sober drinks that they have introduced recently we decided to give it a try.
Its Pizza Burger with Robin Van Berry & Mary com Cooler from Sober Cocktails Menu
We started with the sober cocktails { interesting names}, when I asked why these are named so, I was told by the mixologist that these are the mocktails , which can be turned into cocktails with specific alcohols that complement particular mix of ingredients by paying extra 100 bucks. We went with just mocktais.
We started with sober drink menu , on recommendation I chose Xavi Basil Pina description reads “ A sure shot winner with lime and basil for a tongue tickling Kick” It was nice with just right amount of muddled basil in pineapple juice served with lots of crushed ice. I liked the drink a lot though I would have liked it more if there was less ice.
Hubs chose Robin Van Berry that a cocktail made with grape juice, black tea cranberry juice . He loved the sweet taste of juices with just a hint of tart cranberries and perfect bend of flavours.

Now it was time to order the new range of chargrilled burger while checking out menu description reads “one-of-a-kind culinary experience, Underdoggs has decided to take its burgers to a whole new level. Skillfully & thoughtfully crafting the burgers with the freshest ingredients”. But unfortunately for me none of the vegetarian option was available in vegetarian version so it was hubs who was going to taste test. However Chef Deepak informed me that they are going to come up with vegetarian options very soon { hope that comes out quick }.
First on to arrive was Itsa Pizza Burger. Menu description reads “Itsa Pizza” built on a unique Jalapeno Focaccia bun. With the intent to be claimed “Best in Town” Underdoggs is “Competing for Burger Gold!”.
Hubs quite liked it in his words ” meat just the tender inside and crisp outside with smoky flavour that’s associated with slow cooked chargrilled food”. It was a huge burger with side of sweet potato fries which I liked very much {different from usual potato fries} and good sized serving of fresh salad. He could not finish whole thing as he was looking to taste other variety “American Desi”.
I ordered a nachos platter and loved the cheesy filling of salsa, olives with loads of fresh cilantro, just perfect to sit back and enjoy with a bottomless glass of drink on a game night { one day when I have time I would sure do that }.
Tropical Phelps
For second round of drinks , It was Minty St Pierre for me and Tropical Phelps for hubs. I tasted both though Minty St Pierre sounded more fresh with green apple slice garnishing and muddled mint I liked Tropical Phelps more { who does not like Phelps

For Vegetarian mains Chef Deepak recommended Veggie Shawarma which I was looking forward to , It came with two dips and vegetables picked in vinegar. I loved both the Dips and Shawarma with a filling of veggie cutlet { looked more like sausage} and fresh veggie salad, it tasted good but I would liked to have it warm instead of cold.
Minty St Pierre
A sober new cocktail made with khus, apple and cucumber juice if you like your drink sweet this is is must try and came to us much recommended by the mixologist at the bar.
What could have been a perfect ending to a meal other than Mrs Kaur’s signature brownie with vanilla ice cream doused in gooey chocolate sauce { Did I tell you that I am a Chocoholic } so this was scraped to last bits and was finger licking good.
} so this was scraped to last bits and was finger licking good.Overall new menu looked good with such good variety to choose from , should you try I will say Yes especially if you like American Style casual Pub Food along with a game of two { I was told that Gurgaon outlet at Ambiance Mall has a golf practicing range too} so its going to be a good game for hubs who is weekend golfer.

Tried the Burger and Drinks as well, They were awesome. Craving to visit soon to try another one. They have 8 different varieties in burgers and drinks in this promotion. UD rocksssssssssssssss!!!
Sounds good. How much was your bill, just to calculate an avge meal for two. I am making an itinary for a friend visiting and thot this info will be handy!

Delicious. Usually in Normal sports bars this kind of quality and verities are not provided. I would really love to visit in this kind of sports bar where i can see a football match with these verities.
