Grand Brunch at ITC Maurya | First Dining Out Review of 2013
2When last time I was at ITC for Dinner with Michelin Star Chef Batiste at West view , I liked it very much and heard a lot about Grand Mauryan Brunch. Winters are the best time to enjoy the rooftop {love the warm sunshine and favourite food} ones at My Humble House and West view, so we decided to indulge ourselves on first weekend of this New Year.

One brunch package and you can enjoy food from three restaurants; can things be better than this? Let’s see.We started with multi cuisine restaurant Pavilion on ground floor. The Pavilion offers continental, Indian Mediterranean, Italian and Chinese cuisine , casual setting, families enjoying the meals together yes! That’s all the Sunday brunches are about
Tempting Salads on offer
I started my meal with a cheese and fruit platter, a combination made in heaven and now if you say you do not love cheese, you are going to get a look that says WHAT?
Beautiful Cheeses and Works to go Along
I enjoyed all of these, no don’t think that I was hogging everything but I made sure to taste every cheese.
Fruits to Indulge
This looks so tempting, but I did not try this as I wanted to save some space in tummy for some more things.
Hubs Loved Chicken Stew and Tried sabj Biryani and baby potatoes in yogurt and creamy sauce { mild spices and subtle flavours and not the loud and bold like usual potato dishes}. Foodie teen had his fill of chicken tikka and hubs especially liked Kali Mirchi Champ from the Indian Menu. There were quite few other dishes to choose from Italian counter, eggstation and Chinese { they have cyclic menu which they keep rotating from time to time.
That done we proceeded for rooftop { Must Visit as brunches are never complete without some sunshine and outdoors. Destination was My Humble house A restaurant that specializes in Oriental cuisine.
Nicely set tables in the hall and best of these is outdoor an excellent view of outside greenery all around and we chose a private area covered with glass from all around , a blessing especially if its windy outside.
Nice Display of Salads and Stir- fries at My Humble Home
Enjoyed our drinks and ate chocolate pancake and butterscotch between four of us , I loved both and moved on to West View, The restaurant that was my reason to come back.
I opted for Paneer and Goat cheese quiche with hash brown crust, just perfect crumbly cheese with a very thin crust , glad that I opted this
instead of grill counter. Mushroom and spinach lasagna was also packed with robust flavours and tasted delicious.

Hubs and foodie teen ordered Lamb shank steak that was done to perfection and younger teen opted for pasta in marinara sauce that was polished off in minutes { Like always she saved her appetite for pasta } . West view offers some fresh pastas and stuffed artisan pasta and chef cooks it on a live counter according to your specifications.
All of us satiated now, we moved outside to a nice sunny view where they have very thoughtfully arranged an activity counter for kids. So when parents can spend some quality time together while their children are having a good time too.
A beautiful display of small plants and some nibbles and bites under a canopy for kiddos there are many activity areas, my grown ups too had a great time. Elder one sometimes takes real good care of younger and pampers her silly … How I wish he is always like that.
Hazelnut Mousse that was too rich for my taste, Had a bite of strawberry cheese cake and it was perfect.
Double Espresso Chocolate Mousse Eggless and Sugar free Passion Fruit Curd
Shared Double espresso mousse with hubs, A caffeine overdose but I am not complaining
And there can not be any thing better than a chocolate to end a meal that has been a perfect experience in all aspects. Food wise so many healthy options to choose from, great ambiance and best of the service and most of all your loved ones for the company, all that you look for in a dining out experience and I am going again for sure.
