Wholewheat Pizza Pinwheels
9Baking anything excites me and provides me the satisfaction of creating something delicious and healthy treats for kids and over selves. Moreover cooking anything provides an opportunity to satisfy my one more passion, that is photography. So whenever we have time ( which is mostly on weekends) we get together and cook up something and enjoy a healthy delicious meal as a family.
For many of us healthy eating has become synonymous with eating bland food, but for a foodie family like us compromising on taste is something which we want to avoid as far as possible
.
I keep looking for the ways to slim down the recipe and adding more flavours to the goodies. of-course I make disasters sometimes but isn’t that a part of lifelong leanings.. and I am a keen learner.
Kids like to eat all regular treats like pizza’s, cakes, noodles and stuff like that, but they too have developed the taste for better wholesome food , so they don’t prefer to eat all that white flour laden with too much cheese or butter goodies. So I try to bake something healthy when I get time from my schedule so that they should not miss out on the fun of eating usual treats which many of the teenagers of their age enjoy.
Last evening I tried these whole wheat pizza pinwheels. Pizza pinwheels can be a delicious treat you can enjoy on any occasion be it a party or evening snack.

This looks super yummy. How much water did you dissolve the yeast in? Thanks!
The ingredients call for “2 tbsp corn flour” but it is not mentioned in the directions. When should it be used? And by “corn flour” do you mean “corn starch” or “corn meal?” Thanks!
Thanks ..for pointing it out, corrected the mistake.. It is cornstarch and 1/2 to 1/3 cup of water is sufficient to make the dough!
This recipe is super-amazing! I made this for my ICSE Home Science Practical Exam (which carries 100 marks BTW) and served it with a chilled trifle dessert. Was awarded full marks, too!
Thank You so much for making me score exceptionally well, ma’am!!
